a rainbow appears

during life's misfortunes, if we ponder hard enough, we see blessings hidden from our oftentimes neglectful eyes. just like a magnificent rainbow, which appears after a tumultuous storm.

uhm... there are quite a lot of things that i've learned, so they say, the hard way, these past months. *and most, if not all of them, because of you ****.

i remember there was this nice sms message circulating sometime in august, which a friend told me, was lifted from one of paulo coehlo's novels. it said something like "if people want to be a part of your life, they'll make an effort to be in it". think hard people. i'm sure all of us have experienced this life's reality. no matter what you do... how hard you try. sometimes, you just can't get everybody to like you. yet don't be too hard on yourself, wallow in self-pity or adapt the drama of "bitterness". let's just put it this way... there are times when people simply could not play the role that you ask them to in your life. so it's up to you. seriously! would your life be happier if they'd just vanish from your story, disappearing into oblivion; or would you content yourself with them playing at least cameo roles in it? decide now.

*as for me, i'm still torn. but i thank you **** though for teaching me this lesson. *sigh. you know who you are. "seriously!" ==> (grey's fan? lol. izzie?) thanks (specially for saying it in such a straightforward way. sure it hurt a lot the first couple of months but now i appreciate it.) i'm happy for you. really. ^_^
